This is a great list to bring awareness to PHP frameworks.

I think that it would be beneficial to add code snippet for a “Hello World” program for each framework.

By adding the “Hello World” to this list, it will help developers such as myself to decide whether a framework will really save development time.

79 PHP Frameworks, what a list.
I’ve tried CI, DooPHP, Kohana3 and Cake.
I prefer DooPHP because of its KISS and speed. For intranet web application i choose kohana3.

imho – I vote for codeigniter/kohana. tried around 20 different frameworks and that’s my choice.

Creating that list must’ve taken quite some time, nice work . It kind of scares me to see the vast amount of alternatives available on the framework “market”, especially as I too have written one myself (Mangrove, DM-V-VM oriented framework, with new paradigms for dependency resolution and a templating engine focusing on the polymorphistic nature of object oriented programming). Perhaps a nice idea to create a (probably huge) feature comparison chart?
